In unwinding after the Design Village competition, students were asked to conduct research on a particular work from histroric architects, and assemble presentations to disseminate ideas pulled from those existing projects. As an early practice in deep dives on precedents, I explored the Chemosphere by John Lautner. The presentation pulled from a limited array of sources available on the project, simultaneously charting Lautner's life and contributions to space age L.A. architecture while honing my verbal and graphic presentation abilities.
